Itinerary description
we parked somewhere on the batroun-tannourine road, and we started hiking inside a dry river bed ( this part is dry most of the year since it does not receive melting snow but beware after heavy rain), this part is relatively flat but walking inside a river bed usually is not very easy and at 2 spots we had to climb rocks to continue but still it is very manageable, the second part pf the hike was very nice along a water canal following the walnut river ( this part follows the organized trail along the walnut river that extends from tannourine to batroun), at some point we left the river and started a climb up that wasn’t difficult, after that we passed in olive trees fields followed by a road inside a big avocado plantations, followed by olive trees again, the next kilometer or so was not clear , we had to find our way inside bushes to reach the next olive plantations (if u find ur way to the dirt road in the bottom of the valley, it would be a reasonable alternative). they last part down was relatively clear and easy
