Itinerary description
If you’re looking for a laborious hike, technically challenging, and notorious for its incredibly difficult features, this trail is for you. DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THIS TRAIL DIFFICULTY, DO NOT GO SOLO and DO NOT START IN THE AFTERNOON as this trail takes at least 7hours and becomes more dangerous at night, when visibility is low. The trail has insanely cool views, impressively beautiful, very different and unique surroundings yet its hard and potential of danger can be encountered; many inclines and steep hills, legitimate rock scrambling, full of extreme unstable rocky terrain, hopping on pointy sharp huge rocks, descending insane vertical slippery slopes and extreme downhills. This is to clearly elucidate what to expect on this trail, before u decide to step on. But if you’re physically fit and you take your time while advancing very cautiously, its doable and enjoyable, its memories not to be forgotten.
The weather is amazing in this area, u can enjoy its freshness especially in this time of the year.
The GPS crashed at some point, mainly near the third summit ‘Qornet L Aaliyé’ (after Qornet Namroud), in here you can clearly see the triangle on top of the peak, find ur way towards it and after, continue straight (westerly) to start descending very cautiously in the long valley u see behind it (when looking towards the sea).
Long pants are preferred, as there are few wild bushes with sharp thorns and prickles along the way, hiking boots to be able to comfortably step on pointy rocks and a windproof jacket.
Enjoyy it, advance wisely and take your time to safely cross your paths. :)))
