Itinerary description
1 day return hike to the 360 degree tumbado viewpoint. Very easy trail to follow and easier under foot compared with other Patagonia trails. The first 8km are an enjoyable slow ascent through fields and forests where you can relax and eat lunch looking at the fitz Roy range. Once through the forest, the final 2km are across open mountain top to the viewpoint. Check the weather here as the wind can be incredibly powerful. The walk to the peak past the main fitz Roy viewpoint for the 360 degree view is a little more settled but cautious should be taken. Again, be careful with the weather at the top. Enjoy! It's incredible views on a clear day and worth it.
