Itinerary description
This section of the trail follows a single road as it climbs over a mountain and down the other side. We leave behind a village, and enter cultivated plantations that transition to pastures and thick forests. Opportunities to acquire food or supplies are unreliable, but intermittent streams provide water. Aside from wildlife brave enough to approach the road, and the rare vehicle or villager, this is a section of solitude and serenity, with lush slopes where the only sounds are the streams and our footsteps
