Itinerary description
In this section, the trail leads up to a ridge, then follows it south until crossing to the far slope. From there, we descend through cattle ranches and farmland to the first of a series of roads that will connect us to Quepos. But before we reach that road network, we pass through Palo Verde Forest Reserve, which stretches over the top of the ridge, and is similar to the dense forest in the indigenous territory near Las Brisas. However, no guide is required here.
