Itinerary description
We started this walk from the parking place which is the start of the Sendero El Berro Pr Mu 79.
Once you get off the road a beautiful track takes you gradually uphill through the woods with lots of shade. The start is at 600 metres and in the first three kilometres of the walk you will climb 200 metres. The track is very nice but the views are sparse.
This track will lead you to a T-junction, to a broader track , Th Pr Mu 57.( Sendero Valle de Leyva). We turned left atreaching this track and after a short while veered away from the Sendero El Berro to take the Senda del Dinosaurio.
This is a very lovely track which leads you across a 'suspension bridge' and has some very nice views.
Coming upon the Area Recreativo we spent some time at the picknick benches and then continued to folow our track ( which is now called the Sendero de los Siete Hermanos Pr Mu 41) which from here on started to go down, passing after a while a derelict Sanatorio.
At the point where the the Pr Mu 41 starts to go uphill again we followed the Sendero El Berro, (white/yellow markings).
Once more the path starts going up from 680 to 740 metres where you come upon a view point with quite extensive views. This last part of the track is very beautiful indeed, giving you quite some nice views.
From this second' high' point of the walk the track descends along an open track/road with good views to El Berro.
