I have followed this trail  verified  View more

I did the trail in reverse (start at the supermarket/church, end at the farm). This was good because the road to the farm was closed for cars (end of season?) so could not park there. I think it's much better this direction as the most difficult trail is now going up instead of down. I would rate the direct trail from supermarket/church up very difficult, there are some very steep paths that are close to climbs and a few along edges that made me uncomfortable. I don't think I could have done that downwards. By comparison the farm-to-top path is much easier, typically a continuous slope. Also has a few minor steep bits (apart from general steep slope) but never on dangerous edges. If you are not experienced and comfortable with heights and ledges, do the path from farm up and same way down.

When I did the trail it was foggy, and on the verge of rain. Going up along narrow paths (often only a foot or so wide) with vegetation on the sides got my lower legs and feet pretty wet. Recommend good raingear, especially pants, for that. Have done other hikes in fog where the paths were wider and this was not an issue.

Note that I also added the hike from farm back to supermarket to make it a full loop - I had to get back to the car after all.

On scenery, I didn't see anything from the top unfortunately. But between and below cloud layers there were really nice views.
