Itinerary description
The track day1 till day 24 form part 2 of a walk between Istanbul and Konya.
I hope other hikers complete the missing parts: part 1 (Istanbul to Eskisehir) and part 3 (Konya-Syrian border).
As much as possible, this tracks avoid the larger main roads and follow the smaller paths through the landscape and pass small villages for visiting, food and sleeping. When possible, long and monotonous stretches are avoided to give you different views during the day.
You can download my report : "Uncle You Need Petrol In The Tank ." https://www.santiago.nl/sites/default/files/mediatheek/Petrol%20in%20the%20Tank.pdf%20Santiago.pdf (sorry, it's written in Dutch language)

Waypoints
Asagi Çagl
A very small village. After this the landscape is getting more interesting.
Eskisehir1
I met the Mayor Yilmaz Büyütersen. He talks about the charm of Eskisehir and the canals like in Amsterdam, Holland . The city has about 800,000 inhabitants. It’s as big as Amsterdam. Website:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eski%C5%9Fehir
Mosque1
On the outskirts of Eskisehir there is a historic district with a cultural center. There are some expositions. I visit a building with glass art. Women with dark safety glasses are sitting behind desks and are working very concentrated. In front of them there is a burner a burner with blue yellow flame where they heat the thin glass rods and transformed into well shaped jewelry.

Outside the city at 1000 meters altitude is a long straight road in a vast plain. It is drizzling, a chill wind rushes across the country.
Waterfall
Yukariçagl
The village Yukaricaglan Koyu, a village with some meager farms, is tucked behind a hill on the plateau. The Muhtar of the village permitted me to sleep in the Cami.
Şeyh Edebi
After the historic district the path goes up through a large Muslim cemetery. After the cemetry there is the municipality Odunpazari with flats. Ahead is a lower area with new housing developments.
