Itinerary description
Effie Yeaw - took the Bluff Trail out past the old BBQ until we hit a good spot for photo taking then took the River View trail plus a side trail to the Pond.
Ancil Hoffman - tried to stay off the main trail and along the river as much as possible but there were several downed trees and heavy overgrowth covering the old trail which required us to skedaddle back to the main trail twice. At mi 3.2, we took off to the peninsula of the sandbar to listen to the riffles of the river as it flows across a low-lying rock bar. Lots of birds to see there, especially waterfowl.
