Calton Hill is a hill in the center of Edinburgh, Scotland, located beyond the east end of Princes Street and included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The views from the city hill are fantastic.

Calton Hill is also the location of several emblematic monuments and buildings: the National Monument, the Nelson Monument, the Dugald Stewart Monument, the former Royal High School, the Robert Burns Monument, the Political Martyrs Monument and the Observatory of the City.

Holyrood Park, also called Queen's Park or King's Park, is a royal park in the center of Edinburgh, next to the Royal Palace and one and a half kilometers east of Edinburgh Castle.
It is the largest green area in Edinburgh. In its extension are hills, lakes and gardens.
Arthur's Seat, literally "Arthur's Seat", is the most important peak of the hill group in Holyrood Park. This mountain, former extinct volcano, is the highest point in Edinburgh with 251 meters.
