Itinerary description
Search for start of Herod's aqueduct. Actually two side by side, built many years apart. Nearly found it but heavy scrub covers the last few metres, east end. Major train spotting; 1 freight, 6 fast passenger. Mud in creek bed is dry dust. Back towards west exploring aqueduct, past my Juha's Guesthouse in Jizr az Zarqa, continue to the beach, then back home. Extraordinary Roman engineering.
