Itinerary description

Lovely circuit in the western Mournes taking in Pigeon Rock, Slieve Slievemoughanmore and Eagle Mountain. The route to Eagle Mountain is straightforward - just need to follow the wall, keeping it on your left. The path down from Eagle appears and disappears a bit and I had to make my own way down for most of it.
On the return route back northwards I spotted a track and followed it to see where it would lead. It led up to a quarry, and after reaching it I decided just to continue on up the hillside and over Pigeon Rock again. However, the climb up from the quarry was steep, with no path, and you might want to give that a miss and just continue up by the road instead.
