Denisa has prepared a good breakfast after a rainy night, when leaving with a deathly cold we said goodbye to Denisa and Martin, we passed Pirin hut and began to climb a path through the darkness of the forest. When we came out into the clearing, everything was white, an immense frost covered the entire unprotected area of the forest. The cold is glacial but the forest looks beautiful when the first rays of sun penetrate it.
The path leads to a track, the same one from which we descended yesterday to the Malina cabin. We continue going up the track to the bivouac where we rested the day before.
After the break, the path re-enters the forest, goes up and down in small ramps until it reaches a treeless area where we have the Orelyak peak in front of us with a large antenna on its top. From this point we can see the climb in front of us.
We begin to climb, the climb is not very hard, stretched out enough so that our legs do not suffer too much. We reached the top and followed the contour line for a couple of kilometers until the last ramp began to descend. We pass a current transformer and a plane where some horses graze quietly. The path enters a forest through which we descend rapidly until we come to a track that takes us to the Popodi Livadi refuge. The refuge does not have hot water, the owner has a hotel and refers us to him, so he can charge more money, he also offers to take the group in the car, I decide to walk to continue marking the stage. In the shelter there is a boy, Dimas, he is Ukrainian and offers to accompany me on foot to the hotel, along the way we chat, he is a walker like me and we talk about the routes that each one of us has taken.
We arrive at the hotel, I say goodbye to Dimas and meet the group again, as always, first cleaning and then beers until dinner time.
