Distance: 16,69 km.
Total ascent: 154 m.

We did not feel like getting up early, we were late for breakfast and then for a walk in Vidin, we needed to change money, we do not know what happened to the banks but all closed after 9 in the morning. In the end a currency exchange of the Wester Union and we take away the problem.
We return to the hotel and go out with our backpacks at 11 in the morning, the stage is short and should not be startled, the new thing is that it is the first stage in Bulgarian territory and the first surprise we take it to the exit of Vidin. We leave through the industrial zone and it is a real shame, there is nothing left but buildings in ruins, companies that would be at maximum performance in the previous communist stage.
At the end of the industrial zone, we take a path to the right that gradually closes, in the end we reach a canalized river and the road that saves the river with a bridge.
We follow the road, a road police couple greets us. A little further on we see a turn-off to the right that avoids the dangerous road and between cornfields in collection we arrive at Dunatsi, in the town we stop to buy groceries in a small shop, we need for dinner, we pass a little rest and take a soft drink. The first idea about Bulgaria is that in Vidin a city where the center is being remodeled among the old buildings of the previous era, many people on the street celebrating Bulgaria's Independence Day. This morning when leaving, you see very few people, little activity and in Dunatsi the first town we arrived at gives a sense of loneliness and abandoned houses.
We cross Dunatsi and we go up the road, we continue along it until the exit to Zeglitsha, we immediately arrive, there are four houses but there we have found an accommodation, a nice place, the owner is working and has left us the hidden key, the place is beautiful and welcoming. We prepare dinner, wash clothes and take the opportunity to shave, we have all the time in the world. Before going to bed the owner arrived, we chatted with her for a moment but we went to bed immediately, tomorrow we want to leave early.
