Itinerary description
From Dobri Do car park on the R16 panoramic road, we took the Prutaš peak trail & at the mountain saddle at around 2100m, 1hr from our start point , the trails separate. We turned right for direction Veliko Škrčko Lake or you can turn left & hike up Prutaš. The descent is a long long winding , well marked in good condition trail. It took around a further 60-75mins to arrive at the lake. The return journey is the same path & it’s a lot of up up up. It’s a moderate walk, extremely scenic & quite manageable if you’re fit& don’t mind lots of uphill. Sensational scenery , even spotting a few herds of deer.
