Itinerary description
The trail starts under the Droutsoulas village moving south/southwest towards Akamatra village. About 10 minutes after you start you leave the dirt road to enter a stone-trail. On your right you will see the ruins of what used to be a nice settlement. Moving on the trail you cross a small waterfall on your left and an old watermill on your right, right after you cross the stream (30 min). Then you move uphill northwest, passing a second waterfall and entering the dirt road to Akamatra (40-50 min) min). Before you enter the village you make a right turn to steps moving downhill and continue to the trail until you reach to the road (30 min). Moving right you walk about 500m until you leave the road to enter a nice trail on your right which will lead you to Kerame (60 min). There are cows wandering in the area, and you might meet some of them on a small part of the trail. When close to Kerame, you make a right turn on the road and right again, moving uphill towards the monastery. From their you continue north on a trail (crossing dirt roads on the way) until you reach to the starting point (45-60 min) and then to Droutsoulas, where the trail ends (5-10 min).
