دره زیبای شیرز لرستان با طبیعتی منحصر به فرد ، در غربی‌ترین بخش استان لرستان در مرز ایلام
شیرِز قدیمی ترین موزه طبیعی جهان دره‌ای بکر و دست نخورده است که در شمال غربی شهرستان کوهدشت در استان‌ لرستان واقع شده است.این دره به عنوان ژئوپارک در‌ آثار یونسکو به ثبت رسیده‌ و دو همزاد در نقاط مختلف دنیا دارد که یکی پارک ملی گرند کنیون در امریکا و دیگری کینگز کنیون استرالیا است. موزه میلیون ساله زمین که به نگین سبز لرستان هم نیز شهرت دارد در ۵۵ کیلومتری شمال غربی شهر کوهدشت و در نقطه تلاقی سه استان کرمانشاه، ایلام و لرستان در کنار رود سیمره واقع شده‌است. تنگه شیرز از روستای گدارگه تا کناره رود سیمره کشیده شده که 5 کیلومتر طول دارد و در میان آن رودخانه‌ای در جریان است این رود که در مسیر خود آبشارهای زیبایی را به وجود آورده تا در دهانه ورودی شیرز می رود و به رودخانه خروشان سیمره ملحق می شود. این دره با دیواره‌هایی با ارتفاع ۱۵۰ تا ۲۰۰ متر محصور شده به طوریکه شیب این دیواره‌ها با ارتفاعی کمتر از ۱۰ متر در نزدیکی روستای گُدارگَه آغاز می‌شود و در پرتگاه هفت رَک و انتهای دره به اوج خود می‌رسد. چشمه‌های کوچک و بزرگ و آبشار های متعدد که یکی از آنها به نام شیرز نیز در این تنگه جای گرفته‌است. جاذبه ی حیرت انگیز شیرز دارای مناره های سنگی طبیعی است که بلندترین آن به ارتفاع ۹۵ و قطر ۱۰ متر در مسیر دره رویایی شیرز به محض ورود به ابتدای این دره چشم هر بیننده ای را خیره می کند. طبیعت این منطقه نیز به دلیل دارا بودن چشمه های جاری با آب فراوان، صخره های تند و تیز و میوه های وحشی فراوان بسیار زبانزد است. زیبایی و بکربودن منطقه شیرز برای هر بازدید کننده ای ابتدا عظمت و شوکت و ابهت این کوه‌های سر به فلک کشیده را مجسم می کند سپس آهنگ خوش ترنم شرشر آب خستگی را از تن بیرون می کند.

The beautiful Shiraz valley of Lorestan with a unique nature, in the westernmost part of Lorestan province on the border of Ilam
Shirez, the oldest natural museum in the world, is a pristine and untouched valley located in the northwest of Kohdasht city in Lorestan province. This valley has been registered as a UNESCO Geopark and has two counterparts in different parts of the world, one of which is the Grand Canyon National Park. in America and the other is Kings Canyon in Australia. The million-year-old earth museum, which is also known as the green gem of Lorestan, is located 55 kilometers northwest of Kohdasht city and at the meeting point of the three provinces of Kermanshah, Ilam and Lorestan, on the banks of the Simre river. The Shirez gorge stretches from the village of Godargeh to the bank of the Simre river, which is 5 kilometers long, and a river flows in the middle of it. This river creates beautiful waterfalls on its way until it reaches the entrance of Shirez and joins the raging Simre river. to be This valley is surrounded by walls with a height of 150 to 200 meters, so that the slope of these walls starts with a height of less than 10 meters near the village of Godargah and reaches its peak at Haft Rak and the end of the valley. Small and large springs and numerous waterfalls, one of which is called Shears, is located in this gorge. The amazing attraction of Shirez has natural stone minarets, the tallest of which is 95 meters high and 10 meters in diameter on the way to the dream valley of Shirez. The nature of this area is also famous for having flowing springs with plenty of water, sharp rocks and lots of wild fruits. The beauty and virginity of the Shirez region for every visitor first imagines the greatness and shock and grandeur of these towering mountains, then the pleasant song of the Shires water removes the fatigue from the body.
