Itinerary description
Hiking from FÍ hut Dreki over the mountains "Dyngjufjöll" with great view over Öskjuvatn and Askja. Hiked to Víti and from there to the parking lot.

VÍTI
Real cool place about 100 m wide and 60 m deep crater made in great volcano activity and steam power explosion in 1875. It´s possible to swim in it because of geothermal activity but the taste of water and smell is strange.
