Itinerary description
Nice hike following GR123 and taking you through beautiful Mundaka and a bit less charming Bermeo. After one big, long climb, you can already see Bakio for the last 8km of the hike.
Highlight is undoubtably the islet Gaztelugatxe, made famous as ‘Dragonstone’ in Game of Thrones. We went to several viewpoints to see this tiny islet with its legendary stairs in all its glory. Some viewpoints were full of tourists, but the best were hidden cos a bit off the road :-)
If you want to visit it, you need to book long beforehand.
