Inside the Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park (entry 200 baht per person), this trail of about 9 km develops on a typical route of the Lime Mountains which are located in the province of Krabi, and characteristic for their rock crumbly, similar to our sandstone, so you will find yourself walking on a path that is well marked and looked after by forest rangers, but treacherous as the bottom is sandy, the rocks are slippery and the rain has exposed the roots of the trees for a good part of it which requires a lot of attention. The terrain is therefore rough in some places. The positive difference in altitude is 500 meters to be covered in 4 km, but in fact you climb this in 3 km because the rest is flat. Therefore significant slope with the additional difficulty of the humid climate.
You walk the entire trail in the jungle which opens up a bit in the highest part with less dense vegetation. To be done in good weather as if it rains or is foggy it is difficult to enjoy the views.
