I have followed this trail  View more

The scenery towards the end of the walk is really great and there is a great spot for a lunch stop just before Burke's lookout where trees have been cleared and you can see a nice view of the Melbourne cityscape. The hill towards the start is a killer so if you have walking sticks I'd recommend bringing them for that sucker cos hot diggy its a killer and the lose gravel can make it a little slippery in some spots, that said it can also be done without walking sticks. At the time I did the trail there were a lot of trees that had fallen over the tracks, I expect these might be cleared at some point though as they cover access roads.
