Itinerary description
Easy hike to 2 alpine lakes. Great views out to Donner lake. So close to the parking area, it could be a weeknight backpack (if you can be a little late to work.) Part of this trail is the Pacific Crest Trail. Just before the PCT starts switchbacks to go down, there is a trail to Flora lake. It is unmarked and easy to miss, but I have given you a waypoint to find it.
