Itinerary description
A hike up the road to reach the highest mountain of Thailand.
We left our motorbike at the parking and started early in the morning. I wouldn’t recommend to do it. There is a beautiful 20 min walk through the forest upstairs. However, there is barely any view, neither on our way up (see pictures you can see the clouds from above once) nor upstairs. The view on our way up was even better than on the summit with trees in the way and no platform. Walk the Doi Inthanon Nature Trail from the parking lotor drive up by bike. We made it here on the same 125cc motorbike and our two bags. Barely with 20 km/h at times though.
