In the Soča Valley (Soca) the climate is particular, there are often rains, but I think this is exactly what makes this valley breathtakingly beautiful.
As it happened to us, take this path after the rain, when the sun barely warms the surface of the water and the river is wrapped in a soft mist and the surrounding mountains are still crowned by clouds. You will find yourself walking in a scenario worthy of a fairy tale by the Grim brothers.
With us Daisy a half-breed from Maremma who had no problems.
The path is all in the shade and for the water if the dog is used to it, the river is available.
