Doberdol (Albania) - Gacaferri (Kosovo). The day threatens rain. We climb 500 meters to the border between Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo where a milestone welcomes us. The Doverdol valley floor looks green and vast. We only see a flock of sheep and one of cows in "dula" because at sunset each one returns to their stable. In three years they tell us it has transformed from pastors to hospitality, including Wi-Fi. We went down “by capon” towards Kosovo and we still reached a panoramic point on the highest peak in Kosovo with a Refuge at its base. After a short rest in a mini lake we head towards Gacaferri where we are received by a family friend of the guide. They are still under construction and they clean the hall while we stay. The storm begins as soon as we arrive and it will last all night. The hospitable mother of the hostel takes care of us, she comes to give us kisses and explain the dessert she has made for us. After dinner, while we are having a gathering, he brings us a plate with fried lamb.
