Itinerary description
This is the hike up and down (and all around) the Diyaluma falls in Sri Lanka. Don't let you fool by the taxi drivers and other locals who say you need a guide to find the way up. Complete bullshit! Yes, there are no signs up the way, but there are only 2-3 junctions where you have to pick the right path right in the beginning, after that it's just a quite steep ascent to the falls. And the elephants, which they say are a reason to take a guide because the guides can protect you, are also just a hoax. There might be elephants during dusk or dawn, but a little 10 year old boy as a guide will not be of much help. Just stay calm and don't approach.
