Itinerary description
A transfer stage on the way to the high Khumbu.
A fine moment is the initial crossing of the pass between the Imja valley and the Khumbu, near the old stupa dominating Dingoche. A new, larger but maybe less fascinating stupa lies lower down.
The track also features a visit to the Italian pyramid, at an elevation of nearly 5000 m.
