Itinerary description
Difan village is situated on the mountains above Wadi Baghel in Tawean area of Fujairah.
This trail recording is only for descent segment, so you can hike up this same trail in reverse mode.
This area is also called as Sidaqa, although the Sidaqa village is geographically in Omani territory of Musandam.

We a few friends hiked this pretty straight forward trail of Difan village.
This is a functional village with local residents.
There are some farmlands and animals too.
The path is initially 4 Kms of somewhaat flat Wadi, but with some boulders.
So bouldering skill will be helpful.
Then the trail moves leftwards towards the mountain with well visible trail that is used by humans/ donkeys of the village for daily use.
The mountain section is quite steep and enduring but thats the fun part.
Once you reach the top village, you can enjoy a well deserved break and explore the village and meet friendly villagers and farmhands.
There are many options to extend the hike further towards Yibir mountain, Jebel Tila, Sili village, Samarat, Wadi Naqab and other villages.
Due care is needed for those trails.
Few trails towards those villages is recorded in my wikiloc profile.
The start point is basically at the base of Jebel Yibir, but closer to the Musandam borderline. You can park somewhere here, please make sure you do not block the access roads of the village / any house or property as this is an active village.
The parking spot is at the end of the drivable Wadi section and just where the boulders appear and block the Wadi.
