We will cross arboreal Erica forests on our way to the Chenek camp, at 3680 mts. These forests give shelter to antelope and primates species, so if we are lucky we can spot one. We will start going down slightly to then gradually ascend to our camp bordering the northern limit of the high plateau of the Simien Mountains and stopping at the Ennati viewpoint (4,050 meters high) to enjoy the views that extend to the north.
