Bogatinom a Stara Fuzina shelter by Lake Bojihn.
From Bogatinom to Bled, June 21, 2023.
We get up without haste, we just have to go down to Lake Bohinj, walk along its 6 km shoreline and then take a bus from “Ribcev Laz”, the lakeshore, from where we entered the park three days ago and it seemed like a lifetime had passed…
We were surprised that breakfast, apart from half-dry bread with butter and pate, had two eggs in the pan that we did not expect, after last night's frugal dinner, after breakfast we calmly collected our backpack and were the last to leave the shelter.
We approached to see the refuge of "Komni Dom", overlooking the Triglav, and just 1 km from ours and from there after some photos we began to go down.
We have to go down a thousand meters to the lake, it's going to be very hot and we don't want to be caught walking on the level either, so we ease our pace on the descent through a very dense forest thick with vegetation and humidity.
The slope ends and we arrive at several buildings, among them the Savica hostel, we cross a bridge over the river of the cascade of ten euros the entrance that was further up that we did not stop to see, because it was an hour more walking and according to the comments of the Spaniards who have seen it say that it is not worth it, the heat is pressing and we do not want to stop too long.
We begin to flatten out next to the lake, it's all full of people, most of them on the shore bathing quietly, César is a little overwhelmed by the heat and quickens his pace, I find an Englishman with an oriental couple bathing in a stream that covers me with questions when he sees my not-so-Slovenian appearance, and after a long interrogation he tells me that I can go now that he won't charge me..., I suppose it was an English joke...
I finally arrive at 2:00 p.m. at “Ribcev Laz” where we will take the bus to Bled after having a small snack after calling César on the phone because I could not find the terrace where he was sitting.
