Second day of treking. In this stage a height is reached in which you can start to have the first symptoms due to height (small dizziness, slight headaches, etc ...) but everything is passed with an analgesic. We did not have any problems.
The stage is short in distance but they ascend about 800 meters. Back we leave the forest and the tall forest, to move to a low-vegetation terrain. The climb slope is interesting but going slowly is overcome without problems. This day we must go very slowly to acclimatize as best as possible.
The Shira Caves camp is reached relatively early (located in an area with very good views of Kilimanjaro and the plain that we left below the day before).
Because we have the whole afternoon free, we decided to take a walk to the old Shira2 camp.
In the afternoon and evening, dinner in the open and we go to bed early to sleep as much as possible.
