Everest Base Camp Route + Gokyo Lakes: Day 2, Phakding - Namche Bazaar
First 6km on a stone path between ups and downs.
Arrival in Manju, to cross the entrance to the Sagarmatha (Everest) national park, where you must cancel 3000 rupees and present the first permit.
After entering, we had the last descent that we would see on the route; From there everything went uphill, between cobbled and sandy paths without giving much respite to flat parts or downhill.
Before arrival in Namche there is a police checkpoint, where you must present the previously acquired permits (the municipal and the entrance to the national park) again.
Trek duration: 6 hours

Elevation gain: 1305 ascent, 575 descent.
Final altitude: 3440 masl
Accommodation: Altitude Lodge
Value: free of charge, including Wi-Fi and free charging of electronic devices, with the commitment to contract food with them (average value of hot drinks 150 rupees; average value of dishes 750 rupees). Hot shower value: 500 rupees.
