Day 5
Trekking carried out in October - November 2019 with Javier Aznar and our guide Janga.
Today the sun has risen. Everything changes in good weather.
A beautiful day in which we will climb from the 4400m in Mschermo to the 4770m in Gokyo.
Throughout the journey the imposing mass of Cholatse 6440 and Taboche 6495 will accompany us on our right.
The first half of the day will run through the valley floor and we will get closer and closer to a chaos of rocks that will turn out to be the final moraine of the impressive Ngozumpa glacier of more than 20 km.
When we overcome the final moraine moraine of the glacier, we go through 3 lakes of turquoise blue water.
Arriving at Gokyo we will have one of the most beautiful views of the entire trek. The town by the lake and in the background The impressive Cho Oyu 8201m.
