I was looking for this trek but could not do it. Finding the starting point proved challenging. I resolved at asking some locals who new nothing. A local police told me not to venture. It is late may, hot and there are loads of snakes around. Also loads of bushes and I was on shorts. The Albanian approach to nature is wired. They just don't understand how you can enjoy walking in the wild but I have seen many snakes around (mostly smaller ones and apart of one the others I believe to be non venomous). It was still enough to put me off though so if you wish to try this, do it in early spring or autumn when the vegetation is not that high and it is not the season snakes go much around. Wear long trousers and possibly high boots.
