Itinerary description
This walk is a section of the full PR6 route. We started at around midday, so did not have time to do the full course. We were dropped off at N15 road near to the point of Casa da Guarda Alto de Espinho. The route from there is chill and easy going mostly downhill. (Still for those who are not prepared - be ready to have some sore feet and some adventure along the route). It took us about 4 hours going with small infrequent stops and comfortable pace with our dog.
The route is picturesque and varied: passes through beautiful areas - each very different from another (forest, mountains with old mines, mossy green woods along irrigation canal and other points of interest and great viewpoints!)
Dogfriendly.
Good if you have someone to drop you off and pick up.
