Teufelswerk oder Schöpfung der Natur? Wer in der berühmten Schlucht im Sandstein den Blick entlang der 30 Meter hoch aufragenden Felswände nach oben schweifen lässt, dem fällt die Antwort schwer. Mystisch und faszinierend ist die Felsenwelt rund um die Teufelsschlucht und an den Abhängen des Ferschweiler Plateaus, durch die der schmale Pfad verläuft. Die Wanderung bietet aber auch phantastische Ausblicke - vorneweg das Panorama von der hoch auf der Felskante thronenden Liboriuskapelle auf das Tal der Sauer mit Echternach und seiner berühmten Abtei.

The work of the devil or the creation of nature? If you let your gaze wander up the 30 meter high rock walls in the famous sandstone gorge, the answer will be difficult. The rocky world around the Teufelsschlucht and on the slopes of the Ferschweiler Plateau, through which the narrow path runs, is mystical and fascinating. The hike also offers fantastic views - in front the panorama from the Liborius Chapel, enthroned high on the cliff edge, of the Sauer Valley with Echternach and its famous abbey.
