Itinerary description
Technical difficulty: 1/5
Physical difficulty: 1.5/5
--
The trail starts just outside the town of Delnice, past the military outpost on its outskirts. From the starting point, it's an easy uphill trail through the forest, not too steep and suitable for all ages.
There peak is a grassy hilltop (in non-winter months) that offers a good view of the surrounding hills and valleys, as well as a glimpse to the distant peaks of neighbouring Slovenia.
The descent is on a dirt road, also very easy. This is a great destination for weekend hikers and families. Even snow in winter-time doesn't really make it any more difficult, and in the summertime the woods offer plenty of shade.
