Itinerary description
Sacramento Valley Conservancy, pre-registration via website and $10 "donation". Only 50 people per day. Rolling hills, pretty wild flowers, not too hard. Port-a-pot at the corral and about 1/4 mile in, otherwise nothing.
Route I did was from Corral, I took Family Trail Loop until it crossed the Boiler Pond Loop. Then when Boiler Pond Loop crossed Barn Pond Loop, I continue onto Two Ponds Loop to see the North Pond Loop. Very little cover, wear a hat and sunscreen. Many places under groupings of oak trees for a shady snack/lunch.
The recording is from Crevice Creek, my car sits very low and I chose not to scrape the undercarriage. I saw passenger cars in the parking lot so a 4-WD or SUV is not necessary, was my choice and added about a mile to the hike.
