Itinerary description
My intro hike into the Swiss alps and it did not disappoint! You can still see some gorgeous snow peaks in the horizon and the grassy hills around you make it absolutely photogenic. It's a great view of Lac Leman too! Just wish there was less smog cloud!
Trail-wise, I started at the Veyteux-Chillon train station. You go left up the street and through a tunnel to cross the street. Once you do so, there's a fork and take a right. Then at the end of that street (at another fork), you'll see the signs towards Rochers de Naye. It's a tourist spot so you have transportation (train) to pretty much the top (like 800 meters before the top) so there's lots of people there.
Coming down, I missed the fork to find the trail just after crossing the village. The trails are very well marked otherwise and seems like the Swiss have a good solo-hiking system. It's really great! I then finished the day by going to the Chateau de Chillon :)
