Itinerary description
Today acclimatising. Uphill from the hotel to a viewpoint. Everest in the distance and small building with short history of everest discovery and sherpa tensing. Statue too of him. Then slow walk to another viewpoint to get used to altitude. Lots of helicopters and yaks on the way. Loop walk round to go down and past monastery. 4 hours.
