Itinerary description

Trek Intro:

We took an unexplored route in Diamer and Ghizer region of GB. Purpose was not only to enjoy the untouched pristine valleys and lakes of the region, but also to open up the trail for fellow nature lovers. During the course of the trip, we trekked for 7 days straight, sometimes 12 hours a day. Despite the difficulty and logistical challenges, the green pristine region was worth every penny spent and every calorie burnt!

Day Intro:

On Day 7, we started our descent from Maja Sagar lake down the Bathraite valley. Bathraite valley is more than 60 Km long valley, and the jeep trek is present till half of the Bathraite valley. And availability of jeep is also not guaranteed, which can make one trek all the way till Shandur-Gilgit road. We trekked down the beautiful lush green valley with swift pace, so as to reach the Gilgit till the night. Despite our full efforts we managed to cover half of valley, and waited at police check post while our guide rushed down the valley to bring jeep. We had to wait overnight at the polite check post for the jeep to arrive.
