Itinerary description

Trek Intro:

We took an unexplored route in Diamer and Ghizer region of GB. Purpose was not only to enjoy the untouched pristine valleys and lakes of the region, but also to open up the trail for fellow nature lovers. During the course of the trip, we trekked for 7 days straight, sometimes 12 hours a day. Despite the difficulty and logistical challenges, the green pristine region was worth every penny spent and every calorie burnt!

Day Intro:

On Day 4, we started trekking from Kagah meadows. The climb was very gentle through lush green meadows. Passing through the flowered valley, we reached the end of the valley, from where we had to climb through the boulders till we reach the top from where
twin Kargah lakes were visible. From twin Kargah lakes we climbed the Kargah top from where we descent into the Ghizer district. Descent was steep and rocky, but after taking a turn through the rocky terrain we reached a point from where the twin Shatichoi lakes were visible in all its glory. Shatichoi lakes had green pastures around it, which added to the ambiance of the lake. After traversing downwards along the lake, we reached the first summer settlement of Shatichoi valley, where we camped for the night.
