Itinerary description
Trek Intro:
We took an unexplored route in Diamer and Ghizer region of GB. Purpose was not only to enjoy the untouched pristine valleys and lakes of the region, but also to open up the trail for fellow nature lovers. During the course of the trip, we trekked for 7 days straight, sometimes 12 hours a day. Despite the difficulty and logistical challenges, the green pristine region was worth every penny spent and every calorie burnt!
Day Intro:
On Day 3, we started trekking from Guttu, a small shepherd hut. From Guttu we started ascending towards a rocky top. The ascend in the start was gentle through lush green pastures, but it later turned into long steep climb through boulders and rocky terrain. After reaching the first top, we had to descend into a valley, from where we had to climb again, not long climb this time, till we reach the Chilleli top. From top the Kargah Nala could be seen down below. Kargah nala is most famous nala that flows into the Gilgit river near Danyor. From Chilleli top we descend down in the direction of the Kargah Nala till we reach the Kargah meadows, where we camped for the night.
