Itinerary description
Ascens on the right handside of river going parallel to the pist and you ll find a nice little waterfall on your left side. Short after you ll find a the cabin of aguas tuertas. The path continue on a spectacular plato surrounded by limestones mountains. Truly beautiful. Then the descens to the lake, and here cone the trouble. The new gr 11 takes you to the refuge Lizara, while the old gr11 takes you to Candanchú. If you chose Candanchú you ll have to follow green and yellow signs as the red and white are mostly deleted. Nice albergue in Candanchú, with plenty of food.
