Itinerary description

This is part twelve from a series of 15 track's showing an a magnicifiant trekking tour we had in October 2017 from Lukla up to Gokyo Lakes (4.750m elevation) and Gokyo Ri (5.360m). From there we did follow the path up and over Cho La Pass (5.375m) and all the way up to Everest Base Camp (+/- 5.350m) on the twelfth day.
After one night sleep in Gorak Shep (5.180m), the world's highest village I think, we headed straight down to Lukla in three long days. This trekking group was made of 18 friends and hikers from Iceland and a great team of locals, including six guides and nine porters.
Today we hit our final destination, Everest Base Camp. a bit steep but not so difficult compared to Cho La Pass. Long day though ... about 11 hours vith a breathtaking view all around us.
