Itinerary description
A very long and tiring walk from dartlo to shenako via diklo.
If wanting to travel this route would strongly suggest travelling in reverse (shenako/diklo to dartlo).
The walk itself is scenic and you won’t meet many people along the way.
There are some dogs along the way which can be very aggressive. If they are with a shepherd signal him for help. We encountered aggressive groups of dogs outside chigo (with cattle and no shepherd) and the worst at the top of the pass... a group of 4 very aggressive dogs. You can take a wide berth but they will see/smell you and chase. Be calm and slowly walk away.
