Itinerary description
Very attractive panorama hike between top station of Darlux chair lift, and the tiny hamlet of Chants at the back of the Tuors Valley. Not a difficult mountain hike, although it takes longer than indicated on the trail markers (i.e. trail marker at Alp Darlux (2154m) to Alp Muotta Sur shows 40 minutes, but it is no less than 60 minutes). Allow for about 3.5 hours for this trail, especially if returning by Alpine Taxi from Chants to Bergün (runs only a couple of times per day, has to be reserved at least one hour earlier, but there is no cell reception at the back of the valley, so earlier is recommended). Alpine Taxi costs 10 SFr. per person. Alternately, trottinettes can be rented at the Berghaus Piz Kesch and returned in Bergün (18 SFr.). Walking out of the valley takes two hours.
