Itinerary description
Starting at Aintoura following "Darb el Amar" till the Lady of Harissa: around 500 m uphill on a combination of agricultural road, forests and asphalt road. Then from Harissa to Haret Sakher following "Darb el Sama": descent in an oak forest in addition to some stairs in between beautiful traditional houses near the end.
Overall, a great hike close to Beirut with beautiful scenery of the forests and Jounieh bay. Most of the trail is covered with trees and in shade. In some places, the ascents and descents are a bit steep over a short distance, sticks are recommended.
