Itinerary description
This picturesque hike offers stunning views of Badwater Basin (282 feet below see level) from the Dante Ridgeline (around 5400'). The highest viewpoint is around 5700' and is less than a half mile from the trail head (where we turned around on this particular day). However, the trail continues along the ridgeline for about another 3.5 miles. It can make for a great 8 mile hike (out and back) that never stops stunning you with the majestic scenes.
