Itinerary description
Hiking on Dandenong Ranges National Park in Olinda - VIC
It's a easy trail to do with few steep parts. However there is so many intersections throughout the track that it is easy to get lost or take a different track which leads you to another part of the park. It could be followed using offline map of Google for instance, not a big deal.
This trail passes by Olinda Falls, Mount Dandenong Arboretum, Sky High Mount Dandenong and Burkes Lookout, which has a awesome view of the valley with Melbourne CBD in the background.
To get in Olinda you can catch a train in Melbourne towards to Upper Ferntree Gully (Belgrave Line). From train station you can catch a bus towards Croydon and get off in Olinda (688 line).

Great loop which takes in a lot of the best views in the Dandies. Well worth doing although the distance measured a bit longer we got between 19 and 20 klms between a group of 6. Not a big deal but worth noting if you are going to hike it.
